About Us

OBDG is my small cannabis breeding project based out of Connecticut.

I'm not trying to reinvent breeding or chase the newest hype strain. I just enjoy hunting through phenos, making thoughtful crosses, and seeing what each generation has to teach me.

At the end of the day, I breed what I genuinely enjoy. I hope a few others enjoy the journey with me along the way.

Regular M/F TESTERS:

MAC #1 x OG Kush "X" - F2 - (F1 seed stock by Purple Caper in CA )- OGX is Purple Caper's version of OG Kush the cross is: Fire OG x True OG. My selections for F2 are MAC #1 leaning.

MacMo x Lilac OG BX- F1 - MacMo is (MAC #1 x Elmo's Army) from Dirty Bird Genetics and Lilac OG BX is from ETHOS.

Lilac OG BX - F2 - I used the same male in the MacMo cross above. Female had great trichome coverage and has sweet and floral terpenes. ETHOS seed stock was used.


Feminized TESTERS: 

Forbidden Fighter x Cinderella Purple #6 - F1- Forbidden Fighter cut/clone from Terrapin Terpenes Genetics in MA. Seed Stock from Fancy Weed (MA). Forbidden Fighter = Forbidden Fruit x Starfighter 

NanaGlue x Cinderella Purple #6 - F1 - NanaGlue cut/clone from New England Clones (RI). NanaGlue = Gorilla Glue #4 x Banana Butter Cups 

Frosted Flakes x Cinderella Purple #6 - F1 - Frosted Flakes cut/clone from New England Clones (RI). This cut of Frosted Flakes is Cereal and Milk x White Truffle 

Purple Punch "X" x Cinderella Purple #6 - F1 - Selection from Purple Punch "X" by Purple Caper. This is their version of Purple Punch. Purple Punch "X" seed stock was made using a clone only phenotype of the Cali Grape. 


What I'm currently working on and future projects (9/4/2026): 
I'm currently flowering MacMo x Lilac OG BX - F1 seeds looking for the next generation parents to make F2s.

Then I will run MAC #1 x OGX F2s. Flowering these will take me until November, where I'll take a break until spring.

I'll be making MacMo x Lilac OG BX - F2s with my selections before the end of the year.

MacMo x Lilac OG BX - F1

Flower Time: 60–70 days
Flower Type: Photoperiod
Profile: Aromatic spices, incense, sweet floral and some hints of ripe fruit. 

MacMo is from Dirty Bird Genetics and is MAC1 x Elmo's army. Female I used fades to the beautiful pink/red/purple color you see in the photo. That was an F1 plant. 

Lilac OG BX is from ETHOS. Male used was a fast rooter/cloner, good structure and had a sweet lilac/floral stem rub.

New England Lights S1 (retired)

Flower Type: Photoperiod
Profile: Gas, bright citrus, pine


New England Lights (NEL) was a clone cut circulating in Connecticut and the greater New England area in the last couple years. 


Expect some phenotypic variation in this S1 generation. Plants express heavy citrus notes during early to mid-flower and finish with a balanced mix of gas, citrus, and pine. Stretch is vigorous. Plants will typically at least double in height during flower. Harvest window falls between 60–75 days.

Blueberry Lights F1 (retired)

(Blueberry Sunset) × (Reversed Durban Poison × Northern Lights)
Sex: Feminized
Flower Time: 60–75 days
Flower Type: Photoperiod
Profile: Gas, bright citrus, pine, berry

Blueberry Lights is an F1 cross between Blueberry Sunset (Blazed Genetics CT) and my New England Lights cut (Durban Poison × Northern Lights). Blueberry Sunset adds increased bud size and contributes a rich purple finish late in flower.

Expect moderate phenotypic variation in this generation. Plants show average stretch, typically doubling in size. Early flower is dominated by bright citrus, transitioning into gas, citrus, and subtle berry notes as plants mature. Harvest window falls between 60–75 days.
